The information system "Baby, welcome to the world" started working in April 2016, with the goal of enabling the registration of a child in the birth register, registration of residence, health insurance and submission of a request for parental allowance electronically.

Local governments have the right to introduce additional family benefits within their competencies, which are currently not included in the service in the maternity hospital, except for the City of Belgrade, whose cash benefits as a form of support to mothers residing in Belgrade are part of the service.
